Industrija

Industrija looks at images made around periods of technological and social change, and brings them into the context of the current industrial shift. The series begins with works from the long nineteenth century, when new technologies, industries and forms of wealth were reshaping both everyday life and visual culture. Rather than reproducing these images, I rebuild selected elements through contemporary digital production. The historical source remains visible, but its material, scale and mode of production belong to another industrial moment.
