Profile

Alisa Lapina is an artist working across digital fabrication, relief, sculpture and image-based practices. Her work uses historical paintings and decorative objects as source material, reconstructing selected fragments through 3D modelling, computer vision, algorithmic processes and additive manufacturing.

With a professional background in science, technology and analytics, she develops both the artistic and technical systems used to produce her work. She founded FRAGMENT as an independent artistic practice bringing these previously separate areas of her work together.
