Florals

Florals began with one of the oldest and most persistent decorative subjects: flowers. Across painting, ornament and domestic objects, they have repeatedly moved between nature, representation and decoration. In this series, flowers are reduced to monochrome reliefs and reconstructed through digital fabrication. Different historical sources become part of the same material language, while retaining traces of where they came from.
